We recently joined ACWA and love reenacting!! Unfortunately, we do not have a lot of equipment and cannot afford to buy everything at once. I'm sure most of the members started off the same way.
If anyone has used weapons or other equipment, I'd be interested in knowing what they have. I'd really only like good, clean items that are in working condition. I have two left hands so handyman stuff is not my "thang".
Look forward to hearing some responses.

Thanks for your reply. We could use weapons and weapon-related items. We have a small tent and most of what we need for uniforms. Other than that, any wood boxes or crates, bedding or blankets, period correct backpacks. Not really sure about what else. Maybe someone has something "extra" they could afford to part with.

Well.... There is a drawing for a reproduction gun at the ball along with 2 wood boxes, large antique trunk, hat box etc. You could go to the ball? Sorry, It's my job to see that every able bodied man is there and accounted for. The ladies are counting on YOU to come and dance, Oh and win a gun.

Thanks for your response and invite to this year's ball in Sonora. Although dancing with ladies should top every gentleman's desire, I am committed (not mentally though) to attend another function that is family related.
